I was so happy when they reunited after 12 long years! They also scouted locations in New Zealand. I just hate we have to wait till the spring for the next one. Every dream filled with her. I was pleasantly surprised to note that 'Riddick' returns to the minimalist style of the first flick, while still resolving the events in the final chronicle. They've taken care of her and done it well! I was completely hooked by the first page and by the end of the first chapter I had tears in my eyes. This is my first read by Kathy Coopmans and I was easily caught up in the intensity of her story of two tormented souls finding their way back to each other. I wasn't so sure what to think as I first started reading. Diaz comes from being on watch to trying to kill Boss Johns and Riddick, but he is killed by Riddick and the other cycle is destroyed by Diaz's gun fire.

Riddick is a fast paced, second chance romance that will keep you on the edge of you seat the entire time. She has blown me away with this book. I was blown away how Riddick and Cora have gone through so much. I have to say to me this is Kathy's best book to date! She also had courage, will to live and a heart full of love for Riddick. Riddick is my first book by Kathy and it will not be my last! It embodies an intense and dark atmosphere that is sprinkled with plenty of laughs. Riddick being Cora's boyfriend from age 17. So I've been reading Kathy since Shelter Me her very first book. Thanks to Jesse, each thinks the other is gone. Stylistically and thematically Riddick is undoubtedly a closer relation of Pitch Black than it is to The Chronicles of Riddick. How she became the woman that she is today is remarkable. A real alpha doesn't need to talk about how he's an alpha because he doesn't care what other people think.
